about the artist

I received a BA in Modern Literature from The University of California at Santa Cruz. I completed the Graduate Bench Jeweler program at New Approach School for Jewelers in Virginia. I've been working at the bench for about 4 years... 3 of them spent at my current place of employment. I currently work as a goldsmith's apprentice in a retail jewelry store, but I hope to make the move to wholesale production, model making and design. My ultimate goal is to have my own production line. All of the work shown here was done while at my current place of employment. Most of these pieces were done as special orders, but a few of the pieces were intended as stock for the store. If you are interested in more details about the process of any of the pieces shown here, or if you would like to see my complete portfolio please email me.

2010 - peach pearl charms

i hand fabricated these earring charms out of palladium. i made the charms to match a pendant that was purchased at the store.  i cut and shaped the petal design out of plate and soldered a jump ring to the top of the petal design to that the charms could dangle from the twisted wire hoops shown here.  i bead set one diamond in each of the four petals of the design.
